Games we care about today (11-17):

Colorado at Auburn (1pm MT, ESPN)
DePaul at Penn State (3pm MT, ESPNU)
Hampton at American (5:30pm MT)
UMKC at Omaha (6pm MT)
Colorado Christian at Northern Colorado (7pm MT) - doesn't count toward RPI
Iona at Oregon State (8pm MT, PACN)
 
In terms of the AP Top 25 ranks, Oregon entered at #25 for week 2 and SMU is the first team on the outside at #26.

With 4 ranked teams (UA, Cal, Utah, Oregon), the Pac-12 looks somewhat stronger than expected to start the year. Banking wins in the non-conference, too, with Utah beating SDSU, Washington taking down Texas and Oregon topping Baylor as the big ones so far.
 
Pac-12 with some big wins over the Big-12. Seeing all these Big-12 vs. Pac-12 matchups makes me wonder why the Pac-12 doesn't participate in a cross-conference series, like the ACC-Big10 challenge. It would be a great way to boost RPI. Do teams just not want to travel west? It seems like the Big-12 would be a good partner.
 
They talked about it at one point with one of the Big's (either 12 or 10, can't remember). Not sure whatever happened.

They've talked to both and kind of do it with the Big 12. The idea with the B1G was to have a matchup after conference play had started, which would be a pretty cool thing. Shame it didn't happen.

Buffs will almost certainly be heading to Ft. Fun at 6-1.
 
Nice win for Penn State over DePaul. PSU is going to have a very strong RPI with this, an upcoming tournament, and the B1G schedule.
 
Oregon State looked strong in blowing out Iona tonight. 6 guys in double figures. Payton with a double-double. Best player in the conference this year, I think.

That team is going to ruin someone's season this year. Guarantee it. They're better than everyone thinks.

Utah with a 36-33 halftime lead over TTU.

Nicholls down 34-30 to Mobile at the half.

Nicholls rolled to the win in the 2nd half. Good. They're bad. We just need them to not be embarrassingly bad.

Utah just hit a big 3 to go up 69-60 with under 2 minutes left. They should have this now.

Arizona is struggling with Boise State. 44-42 at half (PACN).
 
Air Force is a bad team. Down to Miss Valley State (basement of the SWAC) by 14 at half at home. Managed to eek out a 1-point win. Any win by the Zoomies is a good win this season.
