Gonna have to miss the 1st half because of class but i predict KSt-81 CU-67. KST wants this game bad
 
question... assuming CU beats KSU would it be better for us if OSU wins against KU? I know obviously OSU is a better opponent for us but would that possibly put OSU on the bubble?

Wouldnt matter, if we win we will be off the bubble, so we definitely want OSU.
 
If we win, we want a shot at Kansas. A loss wouldn't hurt us (and may help our RPI) and a win could vault us to a really nice seed.

Let's beat KSU first though. :wink2:
 
I feel good about this game. We have the formula to beat them, we just need to execute. Let see if the boys can come out fired up.

Agreed. Without Pullen KSU is not an elite team. We have shut him down twice, no reason it can't be three times.

I really wish they were a bubble team to so we could beat them and send Pullen to the NIT.
 
KSU is playing really well at the moment, beating anybody 3 times in the same season is difficult and I am sure that this will basically be a home game for KSU. Winning this game is going to be extremely tough for us, hopefully we can keep it close and have a chance to win it at the end. GO BUFFS!

I was just saying that this is the most disappointing thing of the season to me. I really really reaaalllllly wanted them to go to the NIT
 
I would much rather OSU beat Kansas. Of course, I'd also like a spaceship. We'll see which one happens first.

Yesterday I didn't think we'd have much of a chance against KSU. But today, I'm starting to get pumped up already. Come on CU!!!

A day to shake off the touney jitters and some solid rest and some more practice in a new gym. Team should look better today.

There will likely be a lot of Kansas fans still there, and they are not going to want to see KSU win, so we may have some help in cheering from them. But then again, the Kansas fans may want KSU to win, so they can have another shot at beating them.
 
i would think KU fans would really really want us to win... Then they could kick our butts a 3rd time.
 
Really pumped for this game. Nice to be excited about CU basketball in March for a change.
 
I love this time of year, and I'm proud of what the Buffs have done. How long has it been since we had a chance to talk about post-season tourneys?


But today is a really tough draw. kJsu is the hottest team in the conference, at the moment. They've had an extra days rest and I presume they want revenge for the 2 beatings we administered to their purple butts. I really hope we win this one, but just as much, I hope we don't get nuked.
 
KU fans will never cheer for KSU. And we have a KU alum as a head coach. They've been very supportive of us all season and they'll really get behind us today.

Think the last time we were in the hunt and missed an at-large bid was '03-'04 season.....and i'm right there with you on this game....not feeling very confident, but hoping the day before and getting to play in this gym once already is a positive intangible

Yea, I had flashbacks to the 2006 season (I think) where we barely got past a crappy 12 seed Baylor team, to then get completly embarrased by 4 seed TA&M. Just replace Baylor with ISU and TA&M with KSU. But I have a lot more trust in Boyle than I did in Patton to get his team ready.

I only was able to listen to yesterday's game on the radio, but I thought there seemed to be a lot of pro-Big XII, CU-is-a-turncoat/traitor-school kind of response in the crowd. That certainly comes through on the ESPN forums, so it wouldn't surprise me that the crowd comes out anti-Buffs in general.

I liked the commercials on the TV the Phillips 66 one comes to mind. They have all this stuff about supporting the Big 12, and showing all the different mascots, but the left out Chip and the Husker. Not once was there a CU or NU clip there. I loled
 
CU and KSU are tied apiece for 16 wins in the Big 12...let's make it 17-16 in favor of the Buffs and that record can't be changed.
