Offtopic a bit...but someone told me to look at Minnesota's OL recruits...

Dimwitted ****
they got a guard and a tackle from IMG in this years class...Guard number 6 in the country....Tackle number 16 I think.....the Guard is 6'4" and weighs 368...recruited by just about everybody...and the Tackle was 6'8" 400 frigging pounds...recruited by the top P5 conferences... Holy crap....those are large human beings.

When a football program is having a lot of success at IMG, I immediately start raising an eyebrow and thinking about what's currently happening with college basketball.

That aside, Minnesota must be going with the Wisconsin model on the OL. That rivalry looks like it's going to turn into a slugfest. I've always thought Minnesota could be a program that's in the Top 25 more years than not. Seems like they've got a coach who has one of those personalities that strongly appeals to a certain percentage of guys -- and you only have to find 20-25 guys a year out of about 1,400 P5 caliber recruits.
