First, CJ promised some EXCITING NEWS at the recruiting luncheon, both on the recruiting front AND the program front. Any clue as to what he's talking about?

Second, a caller, probably one of you douchebags, stated that he'd seen some exciting something or other on Rivals or Scout, can't remember.

So, now I'm all hopeful that something good is going to happen! PLEASE DON'T LET ME DOWN, LORD!

Football excellence fund in order to raise money for facilities? Don't have a rivals account but I saw this as a thread topic.
 
Quote of part of the deal. Seems to be legit says the respected Random Internet Posters over there....

Coming March 15th or abouts the " Football Excellence Fund " will be announced. This is a new football only fund which will provide one-time and on-going support for the varsity football program at CU-Boulder. This will help pay for travel,furniture, fixtures, equipment, recruiting, capital projects,programing, entertaining, special projects, salaries and bonus awards for coaches.

I would throw my 100 bucks in this pot next year instead of the buff club if true- sadly thats all I can give at this point. Insurance doesn't pay ****

I was kind of hoping that Embree chose the unicorn over the Porsche....

Seems like a no brainer to me.

I didn't. I had to get back to work. I only know that CJ said people would be surprised at his choice. But it seemed to me like they were making a case for Darian Hagan.
