I could see one of these two being announced for our 12th game! Nebraska would be willing if the game could be played at Sports Authority! That would be like a home game for them. Not to mention a joint effort for fundraising for flood victims given that there are so many skers that live in the swath hit areas! Penn State may need help balancing their 60M hit that they have to pay the NCAA! Any thoughts on this?
 
Abso-f**king-lutely not. I'm not moving a game off campus for the benefit of those jackasses.
 
Both already have 12 game schedules and neither one plays at Hawaii. How are they going to schedule us? Is there something I am missing?
 
Broncos are not going to allow a college football game now that the season is going. last thing they want is messed up turf.

No. You're not missing anything. It's not going to happen with either of those teams.
 
Guess it depends if CU can get a Division I-A team in here or not. If the answer is no, then have to consider options like this, assuming they were able to get a waiver for a 13th game.
 
Not . . . . . . . . . going . . . . . to . . . . .. . . . happen.

Those schools aren't coming to Boulder for the money that CU could offer, they don't need it. They aren't going to risk a game against a non-conference foe in the middle of a conference schedule giving up a bye week.

CU fans hate the nubs and they know it. I can't imagine the reception that Pedo State would get coming into Boulder.
 
I know that MacIntyre wants to get the run game going, but that's not enough reason to play the Nubs in Denver.

I'm expecting to see a deal announced soon that makes sense soon for a 10/19 opponent at Folsom.

I think Nebraska would schedule this game. The Defense needs the workout.

But really? If it's going to happen the game will be played in Lincoln with the proceeds going to Colorado flood victims.
 
Wow, got your Sandwich!! Here it is... Coach Mac2 said on his coaches show tonight that they already contacted Neb and where turned down for Oct 19! He didn't point specifics, but likely a myriad of reasons! Any ones guess? TV contracts issues,Boulder issues,wanting the week off to sore up deficiencies, I guess. When I serve this sandwich, I shove down your PIE HOLE at the next Allbuffs Tailgate! see you then! :)

Do you know every guideline of the NCAA? Maybe under extreme circumstances they would allow a team to play us even if they were to play a 13 game! No go eat some cow pies!

Since we are discussing something that is unpossible..... Maybe they can schedule Penn State at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia..... I would go..... I'll buy a ticket..... This has to be a financially sound decision....:wow:
 
We can get Texas A&M in here to play. We need to promise to pay Texas A&M at least $1 million and I think it will cost an additional $100k for Johnny Football, but we should sell out Folsom, so it won't be that bad. It looks like we can play them on October 19th, All we need to do is move their game with Auburn to November 23rd and shuffle the A&M-LSU game to November 16th from November 23rd. It just seems so easy to make this work. I think we can get Alabama to get here too, but it will take a bit more work on the schedule. What do you guys think!
