They're not going to get much play on CU's side if they set the line Oregon -42.5I expected it higher. Maybe because it is a home game? or just out of sympathy? oregon beats CU by 45+ points pulling away with back-ups in. CU is not even close. I really don't see a kid on the Buffs roster that would start at oregon.
Sniffing a shut out here fellas.
-38.5 should be pretty close to what the Broncos open at when they play the Jaguars. I think CU sneaks under the spread against Oregon. The Jaguars not so much.
that is the sad part. some freshman no name walk on will set records in touchdowns in a game, most touchdowns by a freshman, most yards in first start, most passing completions for touchdowns by a running back, longest touchdown run by freshman. BTW he will probably earn a Pac12 player of the week..Hey! That's something!
Wait. That means some nobody is going to run all over us.
I'd rather it be a national name.
He would out run us on crutchesD'Anthony Thomas might not play. I was kinda interested in watching him tho....
Last year it was 49.5. This year we cover and give them a game, for about a half
That's kinda optimistic. Unless you're better than Cal or Tennessee.

Does Helfrich take it easy on the buffs because he coached here. The CSU @Alabama game was 30+ but that was easy money because you knew Saban would take it easy on McElwain. Does Helfrich do the same? I think he does. +38.5 is good.
Yeah wouldn't be too sure about Cal. According to Sagarin they are ranked three spots higher than us.Definitely not better than either of those programs. But hey, at least we aren't paying our players like Oregon. Got that going for us, which is nice.
NO - first off scott frost is the OC and he hates CU + if they run the score up and bama struggles = more 1st place votes.Does Helfrich take it easy on the buffs because he coached here. If Oregon goes undefeated they'll have no issues being in the title game, I really don't think they need to run the score up. The Pac12 is seen as the 2nd best conference for the most part this year behind the SEC (I actually think the top of the Pac 12>top of the SEC this year). Now if we faced Oregon after they played Stanford and lost then I'd think they would just obliterate everyone by 50+Looking at the schedules, I think we'll see more than 2 BCS teams go undefeated this year. I think it's very much in Oregon's interest to run up the score every chance they get.
I wish I could have my career "nearly killed" like his!Helfrich did us no favors while he was here, I can't imagine he plans to do any now. He probably hates this place since it nearly killed his career.
