I was just going to post this. With all their success and all the money coming in from the B1G Network, I can't believe that Wisconsin is getting back-to-back poached by Arkansas and Oregon State. :wow:

WOAH. That's crazy. Really crazy. Something is in the water up in Wisconsin, and it seems like it stinks.

Overbearing boss syndrome?

Damn! Another quality coach to the Pac! Of course, after the conference championship, Madison fans may disagree with my assessment.

Maybe recruiting, I guess, but he's not exactly getting a desirable recruiting package in Corvallis. But yeah, you gotta start pointing fingers at Alvarez and wondering if he's just a sonofabitch to work for.

It would make my year if Wisconsin hired Pelini. Not out of the question with Alvarez being a Tom Osborne guy.

Would be especially beautiful if Wisconsin drastically underpaid him so that Nebraska ended up paying most of Pelini's salary.

This has to happen.

Damn.

Didn't Andersen tell us to get bent 2 years ago?

I'd like us to go to Corvallis and break one off in his ass.

This is nuts. Makes me wonder why he took that gig two years ago in the first place-and how hard we pursued him......

cause wisconsin looked good from afar, but was far from good? This might be him just taking an out. it certainly smacks of it.

Goes to show how burnt to the ground and cratered we were if Andersen tells us to **** off, goes to Wiscy only to leave in 2 years for OSU.

Very very strange. I think he is going to find that recruiting to OSU is harder than to Wisconsin. Props to Oregon State, I coveted him when we were hiring a couple of years ago. I'm guessing that CU being historically bad scared him off at the time, but Colorado has a much higher ceiling than OSU.

Definitely a hire that shows that they are trying to gain ground on Oregon.

Really anyone with a resume of any kind going to Oregon State stumps me.

You're all but guaranteed to get your ass kicked in the biggest game of the year, every year.
