Looks like we're not the only ones who have stumbled early - Beavs lost to Utah Valley (I don't know what that is) tonight. Like the Buffs, OSU is 3-3, with two cupcake wins and a win over Charlotte, and losses to Seattle, Texas Southern and now UVU.

Buffs should win this one at home, and hopefully regain some confidence. Don't know much about the Beavs, other than they beat us last year in Corvallis and that their coach is Craig Robinson, Michelle Obama's brother. Looking at their stats rebounding is an issue for them as well, so it should be a favorable matchup.
 
We will do much better against a future Pac-12 foe this Saturday compared to the football team.

Utah Valley (RPI 345) has the 4th from the bottom RPI, that is a really bad loss.

For comparison, Alcorn state is 331, CSU is 318, and Oregon State is 283. But CU is 279, so we dont have too much to be proud of.
 
Good opportunity to show our future conference brethren that we're no doormat in basketball. Hope to see some scrappier play from the Buffs -- go get those rebounds and some tough D. Hold the Beavs to under 65
 
Really wanted to go to this game, but it happened to land on the same day as the year's only Denver Santa Pub Crawl.
