#18 Michigan at #8 Villanova tonight at 4:30 on FS1. (What a great matchup for November!)
 
This Michigan defense is insane tonight. I haven't seen too many teams defend that well as a team in November. Beilein has himself a serious team this year.
 
2 minutes into the 2nd half and Nova still hasn't scored 20 points. This is amazing. If Tad's watching this Michigan performance, it's probably better than Viagra. :ROFLMAO:
 
#24 Marquette at Indiana on now. Another good early season matchup.
 
#15 Syracuse plays an undefeated UConn at the Garden tonight. 5pm on the deuce.

Followed by #13 Oregon vs undefeated Iowa at the Garden and then they've got Texas A&M at #3 Gonzaga.

Looks like I'm watching a lot of basketball tonight.

Getting more excited about basketball early this year. Combination of the Buffs football killing my interest, a lack of interest in the NFL Thursday game, and the Thursday night college football schedule lacking any real interest.

Also have much more interest in college BB than in watching NBA games.
 
I guess UConn is on schedule to win another national title this year. Unranked entering the season and a complete afterthought the past couple seasons.

I did not see the Michigan game, so I get that the game could have made Nova look like garbage. However, Quinearly was a top, national recruit, and Booth and Paschall are solid players. Coach Wright has proven himself, so while nobody is predicting a defense of the title, a S16 run is definitely something they could do. I agree with Nik on this one...they should be ranked all season (although top 15 may be too high).

Quinearly doesn't even start, but moreover that was at home, and UM are not world beaters.

We'll see what happens though.
 
Watching the Oregon game. Bol Bol has some real talent. But man I am getting really sad thinking about if we had Dallas for the game vs Oregon. I really think Dallas' strength and atheleticism would bother Bol Bol.
 
I could end up being very wrong about Nova. May be a struggle for a while and a process. 2 titles in 3 years, but kind of got gutted with that I guess.

This is where you tell me I was on point about Nova bein a an also ran this year. That roster doesn't even make CU fans jealous.
 
Very weird year in that VA Tech is playing Purdue and I'm expecting the Hokies to win... because it's basketball, not football. o_O
