SMU falls to #25 Arkansas. SMU now only 2-3. They're playing tough teams in an attempt to not get screwed by the committee again, but they aren't beating any of these teams.
Butler is pretty solid, what else is new. They have some offense now and are boarding like a mother****er. They always play good D.
If they win this, the Big East is making a push to be the #1 conference.
Of the 10 teams, Marquette is the only one with a loss so far this year. And even if they're struggling a bit, we know Marquette doesn't suck.
Big East continues to roll, as Georgetown takes down #18 Florida in OT.
Deep conference, no doubt. My questions are other than Nova, who else will sustain being ranked and "national" programs? Additionally, Seton Hall and Marquette remain mysteries. We know DePaul is the bottom.
Definitely a question.
Nova looks like a legit Top 10 this year.
Creighton is likely a season-long Top 25.
After that you've got Xavier, Butler, Georgetown, St. John's and Providence that could all be there (probably in that order). I also think Marquette will come around while Seton Hall falls off and DePaul finishes at the bottom.
6 teams in the Dance looks like a pretty safe bet this year. 7 wouldn't be crazy, though.
Is UNC/UCLA seriously not televised since it's a consolation game? Unreal.
If you count Eli, we have 11 guys in the rotation.
Ole Miss defeats #23 Creighton 75-68 on a neutral court.
I think people may have gotten carried away with Creighton's one solid half to come back and beat Oklahoma by 2 at home. Creighton will have some growing pains this year.
