Weekend starts with what looks like a potential blowout in our own PAC12 with a weaker than expected Washington team @ (17) USC

Some potential nuclear blowouts in the B12 as well with (10)Oklahoma playing against a stumbling Texas team. Don't expect much mercy here.

(3)Baylor will have to try hard not to beat a terrible Kansas team by 60. And Baylor may not try hard running up a score to get that attention they so love.

Best matchups of the week look to be (13) Northwestern trying to get back on track against a rising (18) Michigan team.

In the PAC we may find out who is real with (23) Cal visiting (5) Utah.

Locally the sheep host (25) Boise and AFA gets a bye with Wyoming visiting.

Hey hokie, if VT loses to NC State this week is Beamer on the hot seat?

In the same conference Miami (Fl) visits (12) FSU. Miami is 3-1 but two of the wins were Bethune-Cookman and Florida Atlantic. They barely got by Nebraska after getting out to a big lead and then lost last week to a less than great Cincinnati team. the Free Shoes boys might be looking at this one as a chance to put up a big number in a game that will get national attention as a rivalry game.

There will not be a firing. At most, VT tries to Bobby Bowden him out, but I dont think so because the next coach is not on staff now.

He might get some internal pressure to resign, but VT won't force it.

Why does Northwestern need "to get back on track"? They're 5-0.

Another pick by Udub. I think this will be the third time they've started well into USC territory, and still 0-0.

And then they have an untimely penalty negating a play that would have given them a first down right outside the 10. Eventually throw back an INT to USC.

Multiple possessions in the USC side of the field and have nothing to show for it.

Meanwhile we criticize Sefo but Kesler who is a pretty highly rated QB has made some questionable throws and been locking his eyes on receivers.

Looks like USC is going to get some points here though

Kessler looks more like a guy who should be attending a tailgate rather than playing.

Dominated a bad Minnesota team last week but won without impressing the prior two weeks against less than stellar competition.

Kesler not impressive tonight. Washington has to be frustrated though. They had multiple possessions starting inside USC territory, got the ball inside the 10 on a long drive, and still only have 3 points

Meanwhile lots of scoring between SMU and Houston with UH leading 28-21 at half after SMU fumbled twice late in the half leading to Houston points.

Wow! This USC- U Dub game is just a thrill a minute. 6-3 early in the 3rd quarter and it isn't all due to stellar defense.

Yeah Stanford is real ****.

:/
Followed by struggling against powerhouse Duke and the mighty Ball State before Minny.
Somebody has their panties in a bunch. Never said Northwestern was bad or sucks or anything close. Did imply that they weren't happy with how they played for a couple weeks, stand by it.

If sark loses this, his ass should be on the hot seat.

Yeah. Washington has some fast players, especially on defense. But USC should win. If Washington is near the bottom the hole we have is bigger than I thought.

More parity is all it means. UW got a lot of familiar names.
Sark won for conf games in year one and never more than 5-4 the next four years. That was a poor trajectory and foretold this. He sucks.

I think he might be done, unofficially, after this. Pat Hadan will have to find the appropriate tarmac to give him the real firing later though.

Pat is hoping for 'cause'. Pat probably will have someone feedin him drinks at the next function.
