OU Band After The Game

I noticed that when the game had ended, the camera had shown the OU band and some of them were holding up the "#1" sign, but not everyone was doing it.

Anyone have any idea what that means?

Seriously, if you're a history nerd like me and want a laugh, go to the sooners athletics site and look at their definition of what a sooner is.


In my opinion, there's too many hand gestures in college football. We just need the basics:

I went looking for the picture of the OU band/cheer squad after the CU game. There were 3 holding up their finger, and one who wasn't. All looked bitter.

American BISON...are not Buffalo. True Buffalo are not found in the US....or the Americas for that matter.

We can't say much either....being the "Cornhuskers" we are actually nowhere near to the number 1 corn producing state...that would be the state that borders us on the east....Iowa.
