Our new coach came to me in a dream.

Holy **** it came to me! Bohn is talking to a current coach of a BCS program.
He wants a guy who turned around a program with equally tough academic restrictions.
My god. He came to me in a dream. He is one of the youngest coaches in the country, 6 months older than Lane Kiffin.
He coached HERE with Barnett in 1999.
Our next coach could be Pat Fitzgerald Head Coach of Northwestern.
I'm not promising anything, I'm just recalling a dream, which makes a lot of sense.

You know what's funny, there is a weird connection between CU and Northwestern. I wouldn't be surprised if Bohn has tried to speak with him. I think Barnett would know of him pretty well. Hard to leave your alma mater i would think though.

But the bolded rings so true - Fitzgerald is who we all wanted Embree to be. Just a quick dumb question b/c my memory isn't so good, wasn't Fitz just the LB coach at NW when he was hired after Randy Walker's untimely death?

Northwestern would be insanely pissed off at us. Their two best coaches in 50+ years, and we hire both of them away...

It would sort of be funny though - any time NW started doing well, everyone would wonder when CU would come in to poach the coach.

Northwestern seems to be his dream job as an alum and he just got basically a lifetime contract. I don't see him leaving for anything less than the best coaching job---and that's even questionable.
