Didn´t work for the P12 with the 9 conference games compared to the B1G´s 8

Someone want to re-explain to me why the Pac is so dead set on the 9 conference game schedule?
While we may be chummy with it now since every team is still new....in a few years I'm going to care less about conference schedules and wish we could schedule some more fun/entertaining non-conference games without having to consider the need to stick with wimpy opponents to make up for the extra conference struggle
Does this mean Ann Margaret's not coming?

It was in place before CU & Utah came into the conference and the fans loved that. The P10 schools would be scrambling for one more OOC game.
I think we would be more likely to go to 10 conference games before going back to 8 conference games. I'd love for some hardcore honk to come up with what those schedules would look like.
Actually, This now makes the MU game a total cluster ****. I was originally of the belief the MU game was not that big of a deal because of the scheduling quirk of the B1G series starting up the following year. Bohn had to have known the series was not 100% done, so it really was just a cash grab. The game @Michigan for $ just got less acceptable.
Bohn said he doesn't know whether Michigan will agree to come to Boulder in the future, but he will discuss the possibility of adding a game in Boulder to that series.
