Pac 10 Bball Scheduling Finalized

Nice find, 101.

I posted somewhere (I think on this site), that basketball scheduling was the one thing I thought would happen during the AD meetings this week. Stuff like revenue sharing, football divisions & football championship game location are tough and this week was just a groundwork.

But everyone in the conference agreed on basketball.

- We all like an 18-game schedule
- No one wants divisions in basketball
- We all want to play our rival twice every year
- We all want to play everyone else equally (on however many years' rotation it takes to make that happen)

I'm glad they knocked this out.

I like it! You get two more home and home series per year than the Big 12, and 2 less one and done. Every team in the conference will be in Boulder 9 out of 10 years, except Utah who we'll play twice every year.

Can't wait for Carlon Brown to destroy some Uouths next year.

I really love that scheduling...it keeps our Pac-12 schedule fresh on a daily basis instead of the same old round robin with the North schools versus once for every South school in the Big 12. I really wish we had that kind of scheduling in the Big 12. Way to go Pac-12 ADs.
