Sorry for creating a new thread but good news.
how sweet would it be to include a couple basketball games at the T-Mobile center too? I hadn't seen that idea anywhere. Just watch Larry screw this up and move it to L.A.Vegas!!!!
great idea -- make it a themed weekend of "Pac 12 athletics"how sweet would it be to include a couple basketball games at the T-Mobile center too? I hadn't seen that idea anywhere. Just watch Larry screw this up and move it to L.A.
Yeah. Steve Wynn. Are we looking for a new commish also?
Good move.
How much longer until UNLV gets a conference invite? Seems like the conference is gravitating towards Vegas more and more. I’m not complaining, but that would appear to be the next step in the process.
I could live with Vegas. Probably require another school for even numbers.
One of the things I actually like about the Pac is that most away games are in desirable destinations.
Home field advantage, potential weather issues, late notice on where the game will be, seems really small time, and Vegas is better than having it on campus anyways. What’s wrong with playing the game at someone’s on campus stadium?

I would rather have a 75% full stadium in Vegas than a full stadium on campus.Maybe a full stadium trumps all these? I have no problem with a Vegas championship game, as long as the stadium is full. I'll guess they'll get more fans in the seats in Vegas than Santa Clara.

Yes, we all agree on that one lol.Well, the 50% full stadium in Santa Clara was a really bad look.
UNLV and SDSU or UNM...kill the Mtn. Weenie Div. once and for all.Vegas and Houston
Entertainment and Recruits
All in
Vegas, please.....but get this game back on championship Saturday.
Don't you think the Pac-12 should be in the last time slot on Saturday night? The ACC is a conference based on the East Coast so why shouldn't they have one of the earlier time slots? I think in the perfect world they should do:And compete in what time slot? The ratings are actually reasonably good on Friday night.
How is it done now? Is there overlap with the various CCG on Saturday?Don't you think the Pac-12 should be in the last time slot on Saturday night? The ACC is a conference based on the East Coast so why shouldn't they have one of the earlier time slots? I think in the perfect world they should do:
ACC: Noon ET
SEC: 2 PM ET
Big-12: 4 PM ET
Big-10: 6 PM ET
Pac-12: 8 PM ET

I would think the pac 12 would want to get that to around 2 million a school. Now that includes a marquee out of conference game and the bowl game moving up in the pecking order to right behind the Alamo bowl.Current contract is worth 750-1 million per year to each school per the report. This could be big time, Vegas needs something marquee it can market. 5 year deal at 125 million would be awesome but maybe I’m thinking too much.

Hopefully they are able to add about 200,000 per school with two ooc basketball games as well.Yeah that was my thought as well which is where I got the 125 figure. 12x2=24 x5 = 120, then I just made it 25.
