Pac-12 in talks to play Big 12 in Buffalo Wild Wings Bowl (Phoenix)

It's important to get a tie-in for Phoenix during Bowl season.

Currently, the top Pac-12 team goes to the Rose Bowl, followed by the Alamo, Holiday, Sun, Vegas, Emerald and New Mexico bowls in terms of selection.

We sorely lack a traditional non-BCS NYD bowl for the #2. Or else, move the Holiday to NYE and make that the #2 (like the ACC does with the Chick-Fil-A these days after ditching the Gator)

Alamo Bowl secured rights to the Pac-12 #1 vs the Big 12 #1 (after Rose Bowl / playoff teams selected).

Hope to be making that New Year's trip to San Antonio in the near future. This game used to get the Big 12's #2, so this is a step up for a game that was already one of the highest-rated bowls on tv. $$$$$$$$$
