Fans are encouraged to attend this year. Hopefully we'll get some CU fans in the crowd.

SAN FRANCISCO – The 2016 Pac-12 Football Media Days will be held this Thursday and Friday, July 14-15, at the Hollywood & Highland Center in Hollywood, Calif. For the first time in the history of the event, Pac-12 fans are invited to attend.

Each Pac-12 head football coach, along with two football student-athletes from each Pac-12 school will be interacting with members of the media throughout the two-day event. Fans will be invited to join in the fun on the Central Courtyard on the second floor of the Hollywood & Highland Center each day from 9 a.m. PT to 1 p.m. PT.

Fans will be able to watch Pac-12 Networks talent interview coaches and student-athletes on stage during filming of the 2016 Football Media Days special, set to air live on Pac-12 Networks. Pac-12 Networks talent in attendance will include Mike Yam, Curtis Conway, Yogi Roth, Nigel Burton, Nick Aliotti, Ashley Adamson, and Kate Scott.

In addition, fans will also be able to watch coaches and student-athletes as they visit Pac-12 Networks’ Digital Plaza where they’ll compete in a water bottle toss and have their caricatures drawn. There will also be an opportunity to see the College Football Playoff trophy, the Rose Bowl trophy, and the Pac-12 Football Championship Game trophy up close.

Fans are encouraged to wear their school colors and come out to support their favorite Pac-12 coaches and student-athletes. There will also be games, prizes, and giveaways for fans in attendance.

Voters I think are severely discounting WSU, although that will depend on the health of Falk.

Potentially.

Stanford should dominate. They don't have a QB yet, but with their lines and McCaffery, they will be a force this year.
UW has a lot of potential, but we will see.
UO, same as UW. Their QB situation is not inspiring.
WSU could be really good, a lot is riding on their QB's brain still functioning.
Cal, could be good a lot is riding on Webb being legit. (Hoping he isn't)
OSU is going to be bad. Really bad.

I don't really see how you could say Stanford should dominate though, they lost a ton of players and despite recruiting well they should still have trouble replacing all of that. Oregon picked up a QB with a Bama offer and their offense is simple to run so that looks fine and Washington is actually the favorite to win the conference in most betting circles. The fact that WSU will likely finish 4th is very telling IMO.

Their lines are their biggest question mark. Those lost 3 starters on the OL, two of whom were 1st team Pac12. They only return 2 DL who saw the field last year, and one of the guys only had 2 tackles.

Stanford is probably the only team in the conference that can win Pac-12 games with the ground game and they probably have the best OL and the best RB in the conference if not the nation. (To JR Ewing, did the really lose that many lineman? Interesting. Seems everyone is talking about how good their lines are going to be)

Thought Oregon was going with Dakota Prukop, the Montana State transfer. Either way the other options are an unproven sophomore or a true freshman. QB is going to be a ride for them.

UW is a good pick imo, but there status is all about their potential living up to its billing.

WSU again depends on Falk. Leech let him get his head scrambled last year. That team without a good QB is not very scary.

Yeah Stanford lost a lot of lineman but they pick up blue chip lineman like it's nothing. I'm not saying they won't be good but I just don't think they are going to dominate Washington and Oregon. Oregon had so many injuries last year and Prukop was recruited as a grad transfer to Bama before he committed to Oregon.

Totally agree about Washington being all potential but they have a great QB and a ton of experience in their two deep from mostly sophomores last year.
 
thinking CU is going to be better then 11th/12th..We will surprise a couple of teams. some of those teams at the top, are one injury from dropping deep and oregon is overrated IMO.

Sefo says he's down to 235 lbs (from 250 lbs last year). That's good to hear, although his QB off tackles might not be as effective!
 
UCLA linebacker Jayon Brown, whose Bruins have been pushed to the limit in their last two meetings by Colorado, smiled when asked if people are overlooking the Buffs.

"Nobody in the conference is overlooking them anymore," Brown said. "They played us down to the wire, they played SC close … Colorado is a couple drives, a couple catches away from being right there in the conversation of winning the South. Their guys are really competitive, they have good coaches and some really good players. They're on the verge of breaking out. I don't think anybody in the Pac-12 is overlooking them."
