Every Pac-12 Football Program to have Spring Game Televised Live

University of California Kicks Off Spring Game Telecast Slate Saturday, March 23 at 4:00 PM PT

‘Pac-12 Spring Football Report’ to Provide Live Complementary Studio Coverage Featuring Mike Yam, Rick Neuheisel and Curtis Conway Saturdays in April Beginning on the 13th

San Francisco, Calif. – March 20, 2013 – In anticipation of the 2013 college football season, Pac-12 Networks is bringing fans closer to their favorite teams with comprehensive coverage of spring games and scrimmages from every campus.

Not only does 2013 mark the first time ever that every Pac-12 spring football game will be televised live, but it also makes the Pac-12 the only conference in the country that will have every spring game featured live on television.

Each telecast will feature at least one Pac-12 Networks personality on-site at each location, providing interviews from the field and up-to-the-minute reports.

Additional coverage elements of spring football games on Pac-12 Networks include:
· Exclusive sideline and booth sound from coaches at various locations
· Live interviews from sidelines with players, coaches and returning alumni

The action begins Saturday, March 23 with live coverage from Berkeley for the University of California spring game at 4:00 PM PT. Play-by-play voice Rich Cellini has the call alongside analyst Glenn Parker in the booth and Mike Yam reporting from the sidelines as new head coach Sonny Dykes makes his Pac-12 Networks coaching debut.

On April 13, fellow new head coach Mike MacIntyre and the Colorado Buffaloes kick off a busy college football Saturday that features live coverage of five spring games over more than seven hours starting at 9:30 AM PT. Arizona State follows Colorado at 11:00 AM PT, while Arizona (on Pac-12 Arizona) and USC (on Pac-12 Los Angeles) share the 1:00 PM PT slot. Stanford’s spring scrimmage from Palo Alto wraps up the day at 3:00 PM PT.

Additionally that Saturday the Pac-12 Spring Football Report makes its debut, guiding fans through the day’s action with live drop-in coverage from host Mike Yam and analysts Rick Neuheisel and Curtis Conway during each telecast. The trio will provide highlights and analysis of each team’s scrimmage, plus the latest news and information on former Pac-12 football standouts as they make their final preparations for the NFL Draft.

The following Saturday, April 20, coverage rolls on with three schools – Utah, Washington State and Washington – beginning at Noon PT. The final weekend of action begins Friday, April 26 with a 7:00 PM primetime scrimmage at Oregon State and a Saturday doubleheader the following day with Oregon at 11:00 AM and UCLA at 5:00 PM PT.
