Pac 12 officials ftw

If these calls against csu on the offensive pass interference went against the Buffs this board would be in meltdown. The pac refs are just horrid man! Like i said I want to win but for gods sakes call a fair game!

The last OPI was bad, the rest of the calls were okay.

I don't think these were Pac 12 refs were they?
The announcers said they were. I remember the first year CU was in the Pac and everyone was like wtf in regards to the officials. I mean you watch any other league and its night and day difference. I have no clue what these guys smoke before a game but its like wtf are you watching the game or was a call radioed in and you threw a flag. Its pathetic! How can anyone not agree with the ticky tack sh!t these guys call and they affect games which is just not cool.

Yeah. I hate it when refs affect the game. Wish I could gloat, but CSU would've been right in this game without those iffy penalties. They have every right to complain.

CSU fans should be complaining about how that OL didn't protect their QB that well and couldn't get the running game going.

I was really surprised at how much we played "bend but don't break" defense in the 2nd half while playing "work clock and avoid mistakes" offense in the 2nd half. Pass rush disappeared and so did any challenge of the middle of the field in the passing game.

If they think our officials are that bad, maybe they should just tell us they want to cancel the rest of the games in this series. I'd be fine with that.

The offensive P.I. calls were iffy at best and the fact that there were three of them that negated big offensive plays near the end zone had to be frustrating for Rams fans.

I was frustrated because I sort of wanted the Rams to score and then be able to watch our offense come out and have to get their act together once again. I would have liked to see how they responded. Instead, the entire second half was just watching two teams waltzing about the field in a malaise.

CSU is going to be a top Mountain West team this year so there is no shame in winning this first game ugly. Montez has amazing talent but needs to evolve into being more consistent and playing smarter. The tailback position falls off a cliff after Lindsay. I'm scared to death to think what would happen if we lost him for some time.

If CSU stops pushing off on every deep pass route, then at least two of those calls wouldn't have been made.

As I've said in other posts, I'm tired of listening to them whine about the officials. We had these idiots in all but 1 or 2 games last year (Michigan and maybe CSU), and we won 10 of those. If they don't like our referees, they should cancel the series. RG would gladly oblige.

Maybe they should have more to their offense than heaving prayers down the field and they wouldn't have to worry about those PI calls.

CSU would give their left nut and build an $230M in on-campus stadium for the privilege of being invited to a situation where P12 refs officiate each and every conference game.

Little bit of karma for the non-TD call last week against OSU? Beavers score that TD to go into the half and who knows. Regardless, this stuff happens to everyone.

Glad we could help. Hard to give an extra down these days, but we can get away with 2-3 offensive pass interference calls. Sorry about those false start penalties, but hope we made it up to you by reversing that out of bounds call. Go Buffs!

Can we talk to you now about the USC game coming up in November?

I have to admit, I was surprised that we used Pac-12 refs, and because we did, I'm not surprised that there was poor officiating.

Because Pac-12 refs suck.

I have to lol at CSU fans though who think we used Pac-12 refs as a "homer" option. If they knew anything about Pac-12 refs (and I don't blame for not knowing, it's not their conference), it's that they are capable of screwing guys all sorts of ways at any time. Lord knows that we've been ****ed by Pac-12 refs right from the first game we played a conference game.

I also have to lol at the thought that anyone at the league office is pleased with the fact that the refs so blatantly ****ed up. No conference wants to have national attention being paid to how bad a referee ****ed up (multiple times) in a game.
