That Washington/Boise game will be fun to watch. We could learn a lot about both teams in that one. I'll be watching.

Northwestern should beat Cal. No expert on what they lost, but the general consensus out there seems to be they're going to pretty good again. This is a team that went 10-3 last year and finished 16th in the country.

Utah State and Utah is going to be a close one. Don't be shocked if the Utes lose.

NW returns the majority of it's primary contributors. The same cannot be said of Cal. New Qb, new Rb, very few returning OL starts, young D-line, inexperienced secondary. This game could get ugly.

Utah State
USC (Hawaii is TERRIBLE)
Arizona
Oregon (this game should be over with halfway through the first quarter)
Oregon State (closer game than one might think, though)
Auburn
UCLA
Boise
Northwestern easily
CU

Oregon really giving themselves a test for week one.

That is the downside of teams bailing out of contracts although I hate games like this. I love opening day, but going into a game and expecting to win by 100 is a ****ty way to start the season.

Thursday

Utah State at Utah - Utah
USC at Hawaii - USC

Friday

Northern Arizona at Arizona - Arizona

Saturday

Nicholls State at Oregon - Hmmm
Eastern Washington at Oregon State - OSU
Washington State at Auburn - Auburn (Although I really hope WSU pulls one out of their ass)
Nevada at UCLA - UCLA
Boise State at Washington - BSU (I hate both teams so this one is tough)
Northwestern at California - Northwestern

Why is it ****ty? Oregon will win the game handily. It is a home game so Oregon and its various sponsors will make a boatload of money. They are playing against a cupcake, so the chances are exceedingly high that the backups will see time (i.e. good game for developing depth). Oregon is also breaking in a new head coach - so playing this type of game is good experience for him, too. The only downside to a game like this is the potential for injuries to key players.

Thursday

Utah State at Utah - Utah wins a squeaker after trailing early
USC at Hawaii - USC runs up the score

Friday

Northern Arizona at Arizona - Arizona wins, but it'll be closer than Arizona wants

Saturday

Nicholls State at Oregon - duh
Eastern Washington at Oregon State - Oregon State wins by <10
Washington State at Auburn - Auburn wins a shoot out
Nevada at UCLA - UCLA messes up Nevada. This isn't the Nevada of recent years.
Boise State at Washington - Washington wins an ugly one (take the under)
Northwestern at California - NW by 3 touchdowns

How does anyone see the Pac-12 faring this weekend in addition to the RMS?

my predictions above

I have been to quite a few of the 60 point wins and I find them boring as hell after the first 15 minutes. I wouldn't mind a game against a Fresno State or something where at least they can make the game interesting for more then half of a quarter.

Utah - USU has a new coach.
USC - Kiffin usually starts sucking mid way though the year
Arizona
Oregon
Oregon State
Auburn
UCLA
Boise State - Not as good as before, but UW will continue to underachieve.
Northwestern - Love their coach.

Do you really want the game to be "interesting" or do you want to win the ****ing game? At the end of the season, would you rather look back and say, "Well, we finished 5-7 this year - but there were a lot of interesting games!" Or, would you rather finish with 11+ wins? Give me wins. **** "interesting".

This. This. This. I hate it when somebody says they hope for a good game. My idea of a good game is jumping out to a 28-0 lead in the first quarter and cruising to a 45-13 win.

I am just saying I would rather play a mid major then beat the **** out of some poor FCS team. I realize that at the end of the season nobody gives a **** who they played as long as they win. I just don't care for the SEC type scheduling that the Ducks seem to be doing as of late although not all of it is their fault.

I'm with the duck on this one.

Utah will have revenge on their mind plus it seems like they finally have a QB whose body can remain intact. There's a good chance Utah could have had at least a winning record in conference play had Jordan Wynn stayed healthy.

USC should take care of Hawaii...Hawaii is nowhere near what they used to be under June Jones.

Careful. CU used to have that "problem" too, once upon a time.
