It's gonna be like in Rocky 1, where this program will be on in the background but no pac12 coach is paying attention.

GAs around the conference will be watching intently, growing increasingly uncomfortable as they see how fired up we are and how much bigger, stronger, and faster we look. They'll say, "hey coach, you should come check this out, CU looks...different," as the rest of the room snickers and continues doing what they were doing.

The rise is real and I feel bad for the people who aren't ready. Go Buffs.

It was a good show. Liked the Fields interview with Curtis Conway. He really seems like his going to have a big year, barring injury. Lots of confidence. Sefo was impressive in his interview too. He's very mature and his injury has put this season in perspective for him. He knows it's his last shot to leave this program better than he found it. Despite his shortcomings, I think he already has. I'm really rooting for him this season.

It was also great to hear Derek McCartney talk about his grandfather and the bone marrow donation program. He said it was all due to MM. He spoke highly of the coach, despite "insiders" here saying they don't respect him. The hosts were very high on our defense and were really impressed with Chido, Tupou, and Tedric. They said what we all know, if Gillam can stay healthy, this is going to be a monster defense.

What insiders have said that? I personally know 3 kids on the team that I'm close with and that is the exact opposite impression I have. One is a team leader.

I heard some guy the other day saying that some of Embree's guys didn't like him. Yeah - duh. I hope so. Jeez coach, you want us to take this football seriously? Come on.

It was some goon in Barzil who was saying he has a son whose friend played with a kid who knows a current player's mailman or some nonsense. He was saying that guys on the team don't respect MM because he's kind of corny. Which he is. But the whole thing was just ridiculous.
