WOODLAND, Calif. – After a career performance last week, University of Colorado goalie Paige Soenksen has been named the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation Rookie of the Week.

Soenksen, an Encinitas, Calif. native, has come out as one of the young team’s defensive leaders and one of the nation’s best shot blockers. Soenksen ranks in the NCAA top 10 in saves, saves per game and save percentage.
