sorry, I usually don't get this worked up, but the CU OL and DL just got their dicks knocked in the dirt by a Mtn. West team. That was beyond embarassing, I feel embarassed for the big guys becuase the got woodshedded.

Marshall has done exactly jack squat.

Bohn can rest easy, his string of hiring coaches who can't post winning records will stay intact another year.
 
Bohn needs to be fired tomorrow. Wont happen but this is all on him. I'm effing sick of always taking the cheapass option for CU. Moving forward they don't get a dime of my $ until they step up. I have season tix and have no desire to attend any games this year. Just gave away the tix for the next game.

Screw CU and their cheap ass, don't care if we win ways.
 
Marshall sucks, he is long past his prime as an OL coach. In fact most of these coaches suck; this program needs an enema. From the Prez, chancellor, AD, HC et al. Stanford and Cal have much better academics and athletics, NO friggin excuses why this school doesnt need to invest more. CO as a state needs to invest in higher education. We'll stay in PAC12 cellar with Wazzu if that doesnt change.
 
Putrid? Lefty is being generous. We just got our asses handed to us by a ****ing terrible CSU team with a new coach. We have no excuse. None.
 
If Embree wants to be here more than 3 seasons, Marshall needs to go. ASAP. Our OL is a disgrace
 
Keep thinking about that plat at the 1 yrd line. We averaged 2.7 yards per rush against their terrible Dline. Start looking now.
 
As a CU fan what do you expect? Embree was and is a cheap hope/project coach that remains to be seen if it will work. Hell, was it 15 freshmen that played today? Don't jump off the bandwagon now. There is a lot of youth out there. This is a program being built.
He got outcoached today, no doubt. I think if you're a CSU fan you have to be excited. McCelwain had the Rams ready, but it's no excuse.
Unfortunately it's delusional to think CU will compete a high level in the near future. Too much working against it. This team is still a couple of years away.
 
Embarassing. The OL was mentioned as the best unit this fall and they came out and sh*t the bed. If you can't hold the CSU DL, then USC, Oregon, Stanford, heck even Wazzu and ASU will eat us up. Having the depth is one thing, but don't try and bullsh*t us by saying the OL was a cohesive unit in camp. Embree and company were outcoached and didn't adjust. They ran scared, got away from their game and let CSU get to them. We'll be lucky to win a game outside of Sac St this year.
 
I admit to getting excited about the OL during fall camp. Wow. How many times am I going to fall for the same **** over and over again? :lol:

The problem with this is that colorado has been rebuilding since they got rid of barnett(the last real head coach) CU needs a real head coach Period. And they wont get that done till they fire the AD.
 
What did you want them to do when they traded in white Hawk for black Hawk? They had no money to pay anyone. Why not hire someone from the program with no coordinator experience? Besides they're true Buffs right?
Troy Calhoun turned them down. Hell, McCelwain didn't want the job either.
Deal with the 1-and-whatever-start-until-it's-basketball-season.

The most experienced unit on the field without any freshmen on it looked like dog ****. This isn't youth. This is bad coaching, period. Marshall, and therefore Embree, failed today. As far as I'm concerned after last season and today, Marshall should be cleaning out his office right now. If this season contines like this, Embree should turn in his playbook after the Utah game too. This program cannot afford another lost year next year.
 
I just puked out the Kool-Aide, that I had been binging on since Spring ball, all over the bathroom linoleum floor. Wife is is going to be pissed. We might not play a worse team all year than Colorado State. When does basketball season start?

It wasn't just the cheap ass option. It was the option to appease all the alumni and fans who just knew that the answer was to hire a "real buff" who "bleeds black and gold". Next time, we may want to hire a "real coach" who has shown the ability to win some damn games....

And then, to top it off, we hired a guy whose greatest known talent is yelling to be the offensive coordinator. A few roll out passes inside the 5 yard line with a gimpy QB, that isn't looking like the greatest idea either....

I would rep you but the gleeb gun is empty. I'm gong to the bar to drink Patron until my liver dies, and can only hope it takes the rest of my organs with it. Catch you next time.
 
I think Greg Brown should be kicked to the curb. I don't trust tiny puny guys who haven't played the game since 8th grade to be DCs for a college team. He and EB sucked today. EB may be a great recruiter and running backs coach, but he shouldn't be calling plays. Keep him in a reduced role and let GB go. The defensive scheme today absolutely sucked.

We were manhandled. After all the bull**** about being more physical, dominant running game, blah blah blah... I am off the Embree reservation.

This team looked so second class, I am partly serious about considering a move to the FCS.

Is there a positive from this game?? D line looked good, D was improved. But if we can't beat a 3-8 MWC team who only scored 22 points on us, our offense is PATHETIC!!!!!!!!!!! Bienemy has to go, along with Marshall and Brookhart. They all SUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
