Paul Richardson predicted to go in the first round per Todd McShay

Personally, I think he'd do great on a team like KC. He can do some damage with the ball in his hands, he doesn't need to be on a team that throws bombs all the time. WCO would probably suit him. In any case, as a Redskins fan, anything but Philly... or Dallas... or the Giants...

Too thin, drops too many easy passes, durability issues.... he should have stayed.

In all seriousness, depending on which team he lands on, I might adopt whichever team drafts him. I'm not much of a Broncos fan anyway.

I posted in the other thread WalterFootball.com has him going #92 in the 3rd round, also to KC. Seems more realistic.

Reid has tended to go for speedsters in the past. Richardson does seem to fit the bill for guys that he took at Philly.

More than anything, KC is missing a guy on offense who can give an explosive play in the passing game. They're way too reliant on Charles.

Alex Smith doesn't look further than 15 yards downfield. Seems like he would be a better match for a big armed qb. My guess would be that he goes in the early 2nd round to Atlanta tampa or buffalo.

Maybe Tampa out of those three. WR would be a luxury pick in Atlanta and Buffalo just drafted receivers in the 2nd and 3rd rounds last year.

P-rich needs to put on more weight to keep from getting busted in half in the NFL. To early to tell who's going to get picked by what team. Seems like he would be a better fit in the so called west coast offense.

Roddy White is about done there which was my thought. I was trying to pick teams who are picking in the early 2nd. I could see Arizona or even Oakland taking him based on speed alone too. I doubt his weight will hurt him too much. The WR is the 2nd most protected position on the field anymore

Yeah but I thought he needed to stay in school to get better. snicker, snicker

I said the same thing about Bakh and it was selfish selfish selfish thinking on my part. Don't know about 1st round, but top 3 for sure. He could outplay just about everyone in single coverage. Seattle or Philadelphia would be a nice landing spot and he would be featured from the get go.

I have a very hard time believing a guy at 170lbs will go in the first round. Richardson at 60 to 100 is more likely. The NFL likes guys that are 6-3 230 with Prich's speed in the 1st round, generally. All it takes though is one guy that likes him enough, and he's hugging "The Ginger Hammer" on day 1

I think prich will be fine as he fills out. he's still in a young man's body. I also think the criticism of KC/Smith is hopeful and dated. As the season went on, their passing down field picked up dramatically. They will be tough next year, if not this playoff season.

Tavon Austin 5'8" 178 went 8th overall last year
Kendall Wright 5'10" 191 went 20th overall in 2012
Percy Harvin 5'11" 184 went 22nd overall in 2009

I don't think it is unprecedented that he goes in the first. he listed at 6'1" 176 pounds, if he can measure out at 6'1" and maybe 190 pounds at the combine, without losing any speed, I would say it is possible.

That said, I think you see in him the Jackson mold (5'11" 178) but not sure that is a fair comparison. Richardson is a much better receiver than Jackson was in college and Jackson was a great return man, which we never saw Richardson do. The bottom line is the guy needs to run a 40 that is sub 4.4 if he wants to have a chance to go in the 1st round.

Some guys are just naturally thin, PRich is one of those. I don't see him adding 20lbs like some suggest.

On the other hand Tante listed some guys who while not quite as thin as PRich are close. He's fast, get's open, catches the ball, and ends up in the end zone. Not unreasonable to think that at least one NFL team decides that his potential as a playmaker justifies a first round pick.

As a plus if he can fall into the late part of the 1st round, unless the pick was traded, he will go to a team that likely has a decent QB and is good enough not to need a savior so he can fit in easier.
