Paul Richardson to sign $40m deal with the Washington Redskins

Pay that man his money!!!

Great to see this. I’m neither a Seahawks nor a Redskins fan so it really makes no difference to me where he plays. I’m just glad he’s going to hit the NFL jackpot.

One of my favorite Buffs.

I will be watching to make sure he stays healthy and doesn't get cut so he actually sees half that money after taxes, agent and manager fees, etc. Assuming he plays out that contract, he should absolutely be set for life.
 
Walked with him up the hill from Spring practice before he had the ACL surgery. Very humble and personable young man. Very happy to see him succeed. He was the last real difference maker we have had at WR. Congrats Prich.

Isn't half guarranteed? He should be set for life with that alone. If you can't live out your life with $5M in the bank, you are doing something wrong.
 
Buff fan first, Skins fan second.

Love this move for the Skins and P-Rich. He was under utilized in Seattle, Gruden will get him the ball early and often.
 
Damn, I really hope Washington's prior luck with larger ticket free agents doesn't rub off on p rich
 
He’s going to pocket at least another $12-13mm. Hopefully long lost family members don’t bilk him out of his fortune.

I am far from an expert on these things - and less so for anything that has changed in the last 10 years. I went from being a single guy who only watched one station (ESPN), to being a married guy with 2 daughters. Basically, if I watch sports in the man cave in the basement, it is a sign I am being anti-social with the family.

I can get away with it for football season, but that's about it.

Edit - but I do now have the power of Twitter! Yes, half guaranteed.
