I think I took Auburn in the pickem. Don't feel confident other than its SEC
 
UVA with the TD pass. Up 7-0



I think I picked the wrong team in the pickem. Auburn doesn't look very good.
 
Real question is how much $$$ did Auburn reduce their roster expense by this year?

Auburn guy fell down on ball though instead of scoring the TD. Not sure Auburn offense can score a TD

Fun first half. Teams look pretty evenly matched.

I've got Auburn in pick em, and haven't given up on them yet.

But am nowhere near Jimmy for points.

Jimmy clearly spent a bunch more time than anyone else on the bowl pick em.....perhaps he even hired someone to help him?
 
the Hoos just don't have the talent to commit multiple turnovers and **** ups on special teams and expect to beat a team like Auburn. Still too many upperclassmen on this team who are leftovers from Groh's pathetic last couple recruiting classes (sound familiar?)
 
Virginia is an excellent academic school...do they bend their admission rules for athletics?

No. No juco's, or "special excpetions" like you see with Cal. If you're not cutting it academically, then they'll drop you. Happened to plenty of star athletes over the years
 
Not expecting an 8 win season for CU next year by any means, but we can only hope that our Buffs are able to get into a bowl game and really get the Embree era underway next year like UVA was able to do this year (London's second season). Easy to forget that UVA was 4-8 (1-7) with only 2 FBS wins last year -- just shows how quickly the tide can turn if you've got players who really buy into the coaches' philosophy and execute. Should be an interesting 2012 for UVA, with all the talent they have coming in I expect them to take another step forward.
 
What was Virginia's schedule this year? Very possible we are bowling next year. Aside from the UCLA game we improved a lot the last three games.
