They don't need it. But Tom, like every good Bugeater, has a sacred duty to tell anyone who will listen how classy they are and will be. It's strongly encouraged, though not required, to also mention that they are the greatest fans in sports and exceptionally humble.
 
Nubs want more security in Happy Valley so their pickups aren't overturned. That spills out all those cans that are worth a nickel each. If I had to pick a favorite, I don't have one. Endless love would work for me. Too bad there are no more ties in college football.

Yeah I guess. I just don't know why you think PSU fans would attack Nebraska fans or players. NEB didn't cause this scandal.


What they should have is a public stoning of Sandusky. (yeah I know innocent until proven guility)

Hope this is clear enough for you: Your drama-queening is laughable because no one outside the Husker cult believes that the Huskers are anything more than a footnote in this whole drama. But, because you can't understand that the Huskers aren't the center of the universe, you can't see that. Not really that surprising.

I thought the sentiments in the article were pathetic.

This is what I took from it:

1. It sure is a big scary world out there!

2. Maybe we shouldn't wear red...just in case...I don't know.

3. I heard that people were treated badly the last time we played (a recurring theme with nebraska fans).

BRI. The world is a big scary place, I get that. But these are people travelling to a quiet town to see a football game. Yes, there are some mob sentiments brewing, but it would be strange if they erupted in the sort of extreme threat to one's person that warrants this informal State Department travel warning. It's ****ing Happy Valley, for Christ's sake.

You can call it simple prudence, and that's your opinion, but I would be embarrassed if my University issued such a small-town, victim-oriented, nervous-nancy proclamation.

It's probably no surprise to anybody that we disagree on something.

Sure hope that big scary Lion mascot doesn't attack anybody because they're wearing red and smell like runzas!
