Jaleel definitely looks the part for linebacker. I hope he's able to get his instincts and has the physicality needed to contribute.
Amazing the difference in body type/size between Laguda and Yuri. Based on comments by HCMM, he should see the field this fall quite a bit. I'm excited by his size and by what MacIntyre says about him.

The muscle tone is impressive for a true frosh for sure. He gets knocked for not being big by some but he was pretty damn big for a true frosh safety. A full summer in the weight room and he is 205.

At the present time, he's still a true frosh. One year ago, he was on a High School campus.
Ohh right... My bad, Digger. I'm thinking he's on "year 2" of his football career.

hes class or 2018. Still a freshman. Once summer semester starts hell be a sophomore.
You're right, he's going into his Sophomore year but he is still in his Freshman year of school.

Is there anyway we can get our starting middle linebacker on the same weight plan as our quarterbacks. I know Awani is not a qb anymore but at this point I will take Gillam to be at leat the same size as a qb. He should be bigger than a qb, for some reason it really bothers me how skinny he is. Hopefully the extra long summer season gets him bigger
That hasn't been announced even though a lot of us expected it (myself included). HCMM talked about Gilbert yesterday as if he saw him as primarily a speed rusher. That could still mean a 3-4 OLB, of course. It's not like guys such as Greg Lloyd, Joey Porter and James Harrison were known for their coverage skills as 3-4 OLBs.
