I do think they tend to look at overall resumes when it's said and done, btw, and don't necessarily work off of these rankings for their final one that determines the top 4. So I am not sure if "OU is ranked ahead of tOSU and has a better opponent this week, so they definitely get in ahead of tOSU if they win" true.

Florida is not the #9 team in the country, and Penn State - who has exactly no impressive wins - is the biggest WTF on the board.

I would love it if Northwestern and Texas won this weekend.

You'd have at least 2, possibly 3 P5 conferences left out, almost certainly a non-conference champion, and quite possibly a team in Alabama or UGA who would come in having just lost their last game.

It's not going to happen, but for guys like me who love chaos in my sports, it would be awesome.

If Oklahoma and Ohio State both lose, UGA could get into the playoff by staying within 10 points of Alabama.

It would also send ND to the negotiating table with some conferences.

Which would be the absolute best thing that would come out of this scenario.

And while I don't expect the committee to bump ND out in this scenario, I don't think it's out of the realm of possibility if OU and tOSU both win very convincingly.
