We played in a timeslot that east coast writers actually had no excuse but to watch. Makes a big difference.I didn't think nubs had that much juice.
LolFlorida State is right behind us in the Coaches Poll. Wut?
I get that Oregon has looked pretty good but who exactly have they beaten to justify being ranked after a down year last year? They've played two cupcakes, both at home, and I don't think they play anyone next week either. Utah struggling with NIU justify's them getting more votes as well?

Yeah Utah is probably the one team in the Pac 12 they’ve been decently competitive with since joining. Only team in the South to never have won the divisionI've never understood the love affair with Utah. They get that one upset at home every year or 2 and then underachieve the expectations aside from that. Even when we were at our worst we were able to beat them or give them one score games.
Stimulated poll?Scat’s official simulated poll still has nebraska 7 spots ahead of us (would have been more except nebraska hasn’t won a game).
That dude was just a really good troll, right?
PM me!Stimulated poll?

Which is why I don't put much credence in the Coaches' Poll. FSU only got 1 vote in the AP poll
The voter who gave them a vote in the AP poll has Michigan State ranked and ASU unranked (and writes for a Detroit paper):

Schlabach does. FPI another story.ESPN has us #20 in their Power Rankings.
Because the same reasons Texas is ranked in the preseason polls every year. How does Notre Dame stay at #8 after eking out a win against Ball St?
Or maybe the Spartans had a really good Monday practice. I think that counts.Maybe he went to bed and filed the rankings before ASU came back to win... or maybe he was counting the win since it was a moral victory.
It's good if they are ranked really high and then both USC and Stanford beat them. How does Notre Dame stay at #8 after eking out a win against Ball St?
