Now that we have seen the mighty Buffaloes in action three times and before we play one of the best teams in the Pac-12 whats your feeling on total wins for the season?

I am thinking 6 + (3-6 in conf) a win in the Belco Credit Union, Diamond Walnuts Auto-Parts Bowl. For a season total of 7 wins.

I don't think our offense will be consistent enough to keep the defense off the field and we won't score enough to win shoot-outs.

I'll go with 5-4 in the conference and a win in the bowl game, resulting in a 9-4 season record and a ranking somewhere around 20.

I'll lean more towards Sacky's prediction. Seven to eight wins minimum.

This is a team that is in transition. We lost a lot of players last year who were not only good players but also leaders and who had been key parts of the team for multiple years.

Now we have some very young guys in key positions and a lot of guys trying to figure out who will create the identity of the team and what it will be. I suspect this will be one of those teams that continues to improve noticeably over the year.

We win a couple we shouldn't, we lose one that we should have won.

4-5, but which games we win will be a total toss up. We'll win one of the big two and drop a total stinker.

I'm calling it now.

CU loses to Washington this week, but gets their **** together and runs the table including USC after that. Ends the season with a loss to Utah.
Edit: 10-2 regular season.

I still don't feel like we know much about this team, but the Washington game will be telling. If we win, I can see a 10-2 record. If we're competitive but lose, 8-4. If it's similar to last year's conference championship, 6-6. I don't have a good feeling about this game based on what we've seen to this point, but I'll be glad to be proved wrong.

4-5 sounds about right, but i am going to hope for some magic here and there--- 6-3 would be pretty damned sweet in something of a transition year.

i can't wait for the board reaction if these prognostications come true. who we gonna fire now? Neinas is gone!
It was a hard draw this year. We could be a darn good Pac 12 team and still finish disappointingly in conference. The Pac 12 middle tier is healthy, and we pulled a tough draw this year. He only have 4 Pac home games, and we pulled all the middle tier teams on the road (UCLA, Wash St, Utah).

while I agree with you, facts don't matter...the very same people that expect us to have a losing pac record will be the ones screaming loudest that this coach sucks and that player needs to sit...blah blah.

Some of us think next year is going to be Allsome. I agree with @J.R. Ewing - tough draw this year, though.

Agree with this 100%. We're going to learn a lot about this football team Saturday night.
