SB Nations All American Teams are out, and while we can very proud of Isaiah Oliver getting 2nd Team Cornerback, I really feel that Lindsey is getting snubbed on Honorable Mention Running Back, especially over David Montgomery from Iowa State!!! Not having a winning season did not help his case, and the praise to Oliver is very impressive. Mel Kiper has him as his 3rd best CB for the draft right now.

PAC 12 All-Conference Awards will come out at 4:00 pm MT on the PAC 12 Network.

Early predictions from a couple of newspapers have:

Phillip Lindsay - 2nd Team RB
Isaiah Oliver - 1st Team CB
Alex Kinney - 2nd Team Punter (Actually did have a good season)
Jeromy Irwin - 2nd Team OL ??? (Not so sure, but we will see)

I think that Lewis and Worthington will get some consideration.

Fixed the spelling in the thread title. That drives me absolutely bonkers when I see players' names spelled wrong, particularly vets and stars. Please, everyone, be more conscientious with that. :)

My bad, no disrespect, especially to PL. Normally spell that right, was thinking of my niece's first name.
Thank you

Shucks, Gaskin edged PL out of the 2nd team!!! There should have been a special category for PL and Tate as they were unicorns on their teams.

I get that, but these are individual awards. It's not PL's fault the Buffs only won five games.
I know, but last year the Buffs were over-represented on the all-conference teams due to our record. It's how it goes, for better or worse.

A couple things that stood out to me, other than the disappointment of PL not making 2nd team:

1) Montez Honorable Mention: Only four QBs in the conference were honored: Darold, Rosen + the AZ phenom Khalil Tate, Manny Wilkens, and our Steven Montez. That's pretty good company IMO and places Montez somewhere between the 3rd and 5th best QB in the best QB conference in football. Not bad for a first year starter who operated under pressure all year.

2) WR's Are Shut-Out: Not much to say here that except that this unit was ranked by some pre-season publications at #2 in the nation behind Okie Lite. This makes Montez' recognition that much more impressive.

3) Tevis Bartlett : Remember T. Bartlett, the QB/LB prospect from Wyoming that was such a big recruiting target for CU a few years ago? He made honorable mention at LB for Washington.
