Powell and thomas are cu's only playmakers....

Get wood in at qb, change the OL. This OL is experienced and are awful. Marshall has done a horrible job.

EB had cu at 2nd and 5 at their 24 yd line after a 5yd run by powell. He then calls a pass play, webb loses 10yds on a sack and they end up punting. Could have went up 35-24.

SEASON OVER :bang:

Webb has got to go. Pathetic today. Couldn't hit **** and Thomas was the only WR doing anything. Looked good early with Powell, Hobbs and Thomas in the lineup, but OL got pushed around the rest of the game and Webb made Cody look like a Heisman candidate. Adios Embree!

Powell is the only RB that wants it, that is for sure. And Webb is terrible. How does Sacramento ****ing State have a QB who is far and away better than anyone on CU's roster?

If I'm hearing you guys correctly, we have 2 play makers we didn't have a week ago? Sweet!

The most amazing thing to me is the last two FCS teams we have played have had the better QB in the game. Not sure how that is possible.

Re: "FireEmbree"

Many opinions here and I understand, but the callsign is inappropriate in my mind. I just don't agree with if following every post regardless of forum. Counter-productive.

This neg rep is for your callsign. You can convey your opinion without it. Also, everytime I see a post from you in a recruiting forum, I will flag it and neg rep you. Have a nice day, OUBuff.

+1.

And ymmsr. didn't even think about that.

Spruce is serviceable. Don't know if he'd be starting anywhere else in the PAC-12 though.

I think Spruce is a guy who works his way into the starting lineup at other PAC-12 schools as an upperclassman. Very doubtful he is starting for anyone else as redshirt freshman though.

Agreed on Powell and Thomas. Spruce is good, so is Alex Wood. I have a feeling Conner Wood will provide a spark.

Theres nothing wrong with this offense a good O line wouldn't fix.

I'm really focused on the O line coaching being the main problem. I'm ready to see him go now.

Did anyone see the one throw Connor made yesterday? Much more decisive, and much faster on the release than Webb. Checked down to Thomas underneath who then almost went for the score. Not only did embo lose yesterday, but because of that one snap has launched a full on QB controversy, at least in my mind.

Agreed. But I don't see a controversy. Webb has no spark and we need to do something. The only controversy I see happening is if Webb starts next week. He's not the guy.

That is what I mean by controversy. If the starting QB doesn't change next week the fan base is going to be even closer to going nuclear.
