I’m in the minority in saying pass on Stillwell. With the transfer from auburn, Bishrat making the move to tight end to go along with Fauria and hopefully Kole Taylor next year I think we’re better off using the spot elsewhere. Just my opinion

Stillwell would be available for this season and would provide a class balance at the position that is going to see three scholarship TEs graduate and leave the program. Without Stillwell, the 2020 depth chart at TE is scary. Plus, is anyone confident that Bish is going to contribute anything meaningful at TE?

That’s my mistake then. I didn’t think he was eligible for this season. That would change things

Restating some of what's been said, but Stillwell has a high ceiling just like the 2020 guys we hope come in.
The bonus of being an insurance policy in 2019 and working with Pupunu a full year should put him well ahead of the incoming frosh in 2020. He can get 4 games under his belt while learning to play TE at this level.

I love Fauria and Kole Taylor, but they are not going to play a lot on the interior nearly as quickly.

Edit: Adam clarified that because CU has used their allotment of 2019 scholarships, Stillwell cannot play in games in 2019, however he can practice and participate fully otherwise, and thus the effect is that he's a mandatory "red-shirt". He had not used a redshirt year.

No, Bisharat will not contribute beyond ST. Not big enough, or strong enough, and has zero experience at the position. I put him 5th on the depth chart with very little chance of moving up without injuries. Says a lot about how ineffective he was a TB.

Do we start a new thread or just go with Parker, followed by Mims? Just wondering why the Buffs can’t get a safety to jump all over their depth chart...
