I know that there is already another pregame thread, but this is not any other game. I'm so excited I can barely focus at work, and I doubt I'll sleep much tonight.
In 2007, the trees went into the Colliseum and beat USC as massive underdogs and upset the Trojans. That was one of only 4 wins they got that year, but it signaled a sea-change in the Pac10. Since then, Stanford has had twice as many 10+ win seasons than they did in their previous 103 seasons, played in 4 (former) BCS bowls, and won the Pac 12 twice.
Stanford is the best team that the Buffs face all year. They're likely to win the Pac 12. This should be a RED LETTER game. This game, more than any other, provides CU with a platform to announce to the rest of the Pac 12 that we're done building our foundation, and we're ready to start taking names and kicking asses again. Anyone, anytime, any place. The team is going to be jacked up after watching the Gospel According to Mac, and we as fans should be too.
If you're on the fence about going, get up tomorrow, put on your winter clothes and get to Folsom.
If you're already going, get there early, and be loud.
If you can't get to Boulder, send Karma from wherever you are.
Tomorrow is CU's chance to signal a sea-change in the Pac12. Be a part of it.
Let's GO BUFFS!
