PRich's Pro Career

Well, he's fast. And he certainly would've been a good returner here. I hope the rise of the Seahawks will lead to more of their games being available on TV nationally so I can see Paul in action.

Always thought he should have been a returner here. He did for a while. Did he have a case of the dropsies? You have to be mentally tough to catch punts.

Scary ass position. Really important too.

Not a huge fan of having your star WR out there as a returner.

In Seattle it makes sense since he has to prove his worth on special teams early...at CU would have been like the Broncos putting DT back to return punts....not smart

Good teams do it all the time but they have depth. It would have been really dumb for us to do it.

Yeah because losing 47-10 was awesome. Having 3 yard reruns every time was sweet. It would not have mattered had he returned punts. He played on awful cu teams.

The only real downside is that it could have had was hurting his nfl longevity.

He had one return where he was hit low pretty much right as he caught the ball and was making a cut. He did the limp-jog off the field and that was the last time he caught a punt.

Wilson to Richardson. Get used to that phrase.

I didn't mean to imply that Richardson was in danger of getting edged out of the roster, I meant it seems like he might not get a lot of PT in year one. 13 WR's is an awful lot for camp, but maybe I'm wrong. Teams are always looking for diamonds in the rough and special teams aces.

Most won't make it higher than practice squad

You dont spend a 2nd round pick to not play someone. He will get every chance.

Gawd, this is so painful that the ****ing Seachickens drafted him. I'll cheer for him to put fantasy stats in every game while the "12th man" loses every god damn game, except for when the Broncos visit. Hate to say it, but I hope our DBs treat the Seachickens like red-headed step-children in the pre-season and regular.

WHY THE SEACHICKENS???????????
Almost as bad as Cliff Branch with the Raiders.

Just saw this one. Nice.

According to ESPN Seahawks reporter Terry Blount, no young player in camp has been more impressive than WR Paul Richardson.
Richardson, the No. 45 overall pick in May's draft, is an ideal shot play kind of wideout for the run-heavy Seahawks thanks to his 4.4 wheels. The 180-pounder is unlikely to get many of those chances this year as he's currently fourth on the depth chart, but a big first training camp is a good sign for his Dynasty prospects. Blount says Richardson "has shown signs that he can hold his own in blocking and getting hit." Aug 15 - 12:23 AM

I don't get the "won't play much this year" thing. Especially if he's doing as well as they say.
