I just went grocery shopping at the King Soopers at 100th and Wads. I counted 10 people wearing CU gear. Pretty freaking sweet! Only one person wearing Bronco stuff. :woot: Brought a small tear to my eye.

Against my better judgment, I went to the grocery store last week wearing an OU sweatshirt.

While I was shopping, I was given **** for wearing Oklahoma gear by 3 different people.

It was nice to know that there are other people out there (besides my fellow Allbuff brethern) who care enough to give me the **** that I deserved for wearing that trash outside of the house

I was wearing it ( OU sweatshirt) while I was dying Easter eggs with my 6 year old.

My daughter subsequently dumped red dye all over me ( and the carpet ). In a panic, I made a mad dash to the store for carpet cleaner without bothering to change clothes.

I was able to get out the carpet stain, however I threw away the shirt.

Answer THE ****ING QUESTION!

Unless you cleaned toilets with it first, I'm not sure I can forgive you for wearing that in public.

Am I forgiven?

What.the.****?

I was wearing my CU tshirt at a target in Denver and had three different people coming up and talkng to me about the new coaches and 2011 team, it was awesome!

i have had on my CU gear all the time here in the GSP area and not one UGA fan has said jack to me.

Why. Did. You. Own. A. OU. Tshirt.

It was gift.

My best man at my wedding is an OU graduate and royal pain in the ass during college football season, especially during the Hawkins nightmare. Every year he sends me an OU t-shirt, sweatshirt, hat, etc... as a joke, on my birthday. This year he sent me an OU 2000 National Championship sweatshirt.

Before you pass final judgment on me, I also admit to owning a sweatshirt from William and Mary, Eastman College of Music, Princeton, ( my wife's alma mater) and a University of CA
( Santa Cruz) Banana Slug hoodie.

whats on your apron?

rocked my cu jersey in Loveland today. Saw too many fuskers, a few other buffs. but don't recall seeing a single rammie. Maybe they're not as excited yet because their super bowl isn't until 3 weeks into the season.

I rarely see any CSU shirts, mostly CU and Nub stuff.

You heard anything from Alaska?

On Saturday morning during college football season I had a routine where I would take our daughter to the grocery store in the morning. I would wear CU gear, and would be mindful of what other people were wearing. At the start of the season it was rare to see another CU shirt. Most of the time I saw Penn State, aTm, UT, Florida, Cal, and others. After Hawk was fired, the weekend after there were 3 other shoppers wearing CU gear, and two checkout people. THe next week there were 5 plus another kid who was decked out by his dad. Ever since then I know when I go to the store there will be 5 -10 people who wear CU stuff (basketball season produced some pretty high numbers, especially on Saturday game days) and the number of other schools I see has dwindled.

Across the board more people are showing their pride.

There's a woman I see from time to time in the Kings close to where I live and during football season she dresses up her 4-5 year old twin girls as CU cheerleaders. Pretty cool to see.

Anytime anywhere i see someone rocking CU gear in public I make it a point to give a swift and simple Go Buffs and a head nod. Its sweet, everyone should do it. Oh ya and i live in Boulder/Denver haha

Last fall I was in Bryce NP with my wife and her parents doing some hiking and had my CU hat on like I always do when hiking. A group of about 8 college aged girls saw me and gave me a few enthusiastic "Go Buffs!" greetings. My wife and inlaws are looking at me and I shrugged and said, "Gotta represent".

Spent the weekend at the Camelback Inn Marriott and there were no less than a dozen CU Fans around the pool. Most sporting their CU gear, all drinking and having a great time. All were talking about how great it was to be Buffalos and how much they were looking forward to the new Pac 12. Folks were from CO, AZ and CA. We were much more well represented than any other school. Had a couple of guys come up (they were from the LA area) and they wanted to talk about how the Buffs were up and comers. The word and excitement is building. You can feel it when talking to college fans! Noice to see and hear.

OK, I will admit to owning sweatshirts from the following non-CU schools:

Oklahoma
Princeton
Stanford.

There's no known correlation between those three schools other than the fact that I own sweatshirts from each of them.

i get an OU tee shirt from my step dad every year for my birthday. it's not popular here, but he's made me kinda like OU....they fight the good fight against Texas and Nebraska....with some success. and i confess, i liked Billy Tubbs inna day. he took on Norm and Kansas, and won (some). that was big back then.

Talk about being proud. I have to pat myself on the back for the long hours of training I have put in...

My family and I were camping last weekend. As we were packing up to go home my 5 year old grandson started the CU fight song just out of the blue. My wife (who could really care less about sports) joined in and of course so did I. Then the rest of the family joined in. I was gushing with pride! Also, My grandson will NOT wear red. :) LOL I just have to do some retraining from Huskers to Utes (or Trojans).

Also, I don't always but most times when I am out and see someone with Buffs gear on I will blurt out "Go Buffs." Most times I get the same in response. I love it!

Don't forget Stanford (only Pac-12 team in the top 5 that can't sell out a game!)
