Masterful job of coaching today.

He let the refs know he way pissed, but he didn't draw a technical.

He didn't allow his team to get frustrated or down with what they had to fight through.

And that move at the end when he brought the team over to the bench was pure class.

For those of you who didn't get to see it on tv, Tad Boyle yelled to get all 5 guys to come to the bench at the end when the game was in hand. Marcus had just gotten hacked and he looked like he was ready to start jawing. You could clearly see Boyle motion to his lips for the whole team to zip their lips.

We finished the game, didn't talk trash, and represented with class.

I love this team! Thank you, Coach.

Hmm is it possible that Bohn hired a bunch of idiots in his first round of hires to make the second round look absolutely amazing??

Tad is going to be to CU like what Izzo is to MSU if he keeps it up like this.
 
I was only able to watch about the last minute of this game on TV, and didn't know about the ref problems during the game, but I too saw him tell emphatically telling his guys to not jaw at the other team. I was very impressed with that. Well done coach. Oh, and MotherFu@king SCOREBOARD!!!

MSU maybe not the best analogy. Jud Heathcote won a NC with that Magic Johnson guy...and is a legendary coach. they had something before Izzo. Izzo is a great coach...and was a Heathcote assistant. we are kind of coming from nowhere in that regard.

but, i agree. Tad did a great job keeping his head on and the teams. getting a T happens, but it was too late in the game to give away a couple FT's and possession for the bench tech.

I mean in terms of student/fan support. I know we have a long way to go to get the kind of history the have.
 
He's WAY too laid back on the bench. He should have gone after the refs.

To beat the Kitty Kats 3 times in one season is quite an accomplishment I think. They are no slouch team and to have played yesterday in a grindfest and come out today and stay close until the end was one of the more impressive feats outside of the Texas game. Regardless of tomorrow night I am excited for the NCAA tournament and unlike Talkins at least Boyle is leading us out of the Big 12 on a high note.
 
Interesting aspect, I went back and looked. Boyle gets a little bonus this year for his winning record and tournament participation. If is hard to tell because I couldn't read the actual contract details, just the ****** Daily article, it looks to up to around 250k. Plus if he wins the NCAA tournament another 250k.
