Do we poach any of those guys? Any colorado kids on the roster? I know we're not exactly recruiting those spots in B1g country, but who knows?
Didn't CU lose an instate lineman to PSU last year?
What they are discussing now is waiving the scholarship limit if you take these players for a year. For example if you were to take 2 players for this year you would be able to have 87 scholarships but next year only 83.
That's trading, not waiving. Got a link?
RT @John_Infante: NCAA releases says the NCAA is considering waiving scholarship limit for schools that accept PSU transfers.
Wait, so could SC potentially fill the scholarships it got docked with Penn State best players?
"Hey kids! Sorry your coach was protecting a pedophile, but you wanna play for a championship this year?"

This is just one person but other writers are also talking about it. It's not definite, just something they are considering.
The problem with that is they would be short that many more scholarships for the following class
This isn't the way I'm reading "waiving scholarship limits." We need more details.
Safe to say even if it is ever so slight it will help our chances with Alquadin Muhammad

Correct MT @Mike_Vorkunov: If you add PSU kid this year to get to 86 scholly, have to be at 84 in 2013?
Not the way I read it. If you go to say 88 this year, you have to be back to the 85 next year. Otherwise it would be a penalty on the school and that is not what the NCAA wants. It would mean your recruiting class could be smaller for 2013 to stay at the 85

If CU isn't on the phone with every PSU WR right now, I'd be disappointed. We are paper thin there, and adding an upperclassman or two while the young guys get their feet would be good IMO.

Add in OL and I agree.
Sophmore and Junior Line backers also. Linebacker U - East to Line backer U - West seems like an easy transition.
It really is open season on PSU players. According to this all permission to contact rules have been suspended PSU players. Other schools simply have to inform PSU of who they are interested in talking to. Sounds like its going to be a total feeding frenzy. One source talked about simply faxing over a list that consisted of PSU's entire roster...buy they ultimately decided on ONLY 30 names.
Issue is from what I've read from various reports, he never really had any legit interest in PSU so it really has no affect. :wink2:
