I think you mean "guy." NBD is fairly dripping with sarcasm - too early?Seriously guys?
He's delivering a mid-season / mid-semester type report on things.
The radio guys need your questions tomorrow (Thursday) since they'll be doing the interview Friday morning.
What's the timing for decisions about our apparel contract? Are we sticking with Nike?
as @BuffFan68 suggested, the tricky part is crafting questions that will make it through the filters, yet are still interesting to the fan base. below is top of my head, I'll try to do better as the day moves on.
1. do you see expansion of Olympic sports offerings in the next 3 - 5 years?
2. What, if any, specific plans are in the works for upgrades or changes at the CEC?
3. Please describe the review and evaluation process for head coaches that takes place at the end of the season. What criteria are they held to?
4. What are your expectations for the rest of the football season?
5. What changes do you believe are most likely regarding re-alignment in the P5 conferences over the next five years?
6. What are your thoughts and feelings on full cost of attendance reimbursement, or other forms of "paying" college players?
7. Why don't we have flyovers before football games?
8. what efforts are in place at the CUAD to improve student engagement at athletic events?
9. did you see the cool new season ticket offering that Oregon has for basketball? any thoughts about doing that at CU?
5.a. We heard Oklahoma's Boren suggest that he was interested in XII expansion and a few other schools agree. Is that a near term likelihood? What schools do you think are at the front of consideration?
5.b. What schools currently on the outside do you see as the best candidates for P5 invites?
11. What Pac12 school has the best chance of making the college football playoffs this year?
12. When scheduling OOC in football, what balance of P5 vs non-P5 schools are you looking for? how important is 7 home games?
13. What OOC schools are a priority for strengthening a rivalry with in either football or basketball?
14. Why didn't ralphie run against oregon either before the game or half time? it looked like she was out there in her pen at the half ready to go.
15. Can you tell us about the process for hiring Jim Leavitt?
thanks, figured that was the case about the field. I didn't know that individual Ralphie's received names (other than Ralphie IV, Ralphie V, etc...).I can answer 14 for you. The field was too wet. Didn't want to risk injury to her by slipping and falling. Also didn't want to risk damage to the turf by having 1000lbs+ running on soft soil.
There is a potential that Blackout was being ornery and didn't want to run. The handlers are trained in reading her moods. Blackout has been moodier than the previous Ralphies. So that could have had something to do with it to.
-First, praise for continually tinkering with things to make them better. Since that Hawaii game last year, concessions and service has been great at every game.
-I felt like Oregon could have been a sell-out, yet there were roughly 4000 seats not sold/used, why not lower ticket prices two days before when it appears you can't sell tickets for Broncos prices? Or why not have reduced tickets for surrounding high schools come sit in the empty north end zone and get that experience of what college would be like in Boulder?
-The student section used to fill the "shoe" but now can't get to the heel, what about incentives to students like gift cards to CU bookstore, food, etc.?
-Are you going to continue the opt out deal for the CSU game?
-There is an AD job at Texas and potentially at Illinois, please don't leave us!
