You do realize that it's harder for even the #1 receiver in America to get open at the goal line, don't you? Less room to work with and all.

Yeah ... they could have tossed it up and let him try to "climb the ladder" and outfight a defender, but that could very well have resulted in an INT. Not saying the play calling down there was brilliant or anything, but the fact is Cal stacked up the line, particularly on Frazier's carry ... and just outfought us. Kudos to them.
