National Signing Day has been a bit of a mixed bag for Buffaloes fans over the last few (15+) years. Yes, Colorado has had a few wins here and there but for the most part, we sit and watch as programs across the country stockpile top recruits that we could only dream of signing.
That changes this Wednesday. Coach Prime has changed recruiting for the Buffaloes in an incredibly short period of time and Early Signing Day will be the first time we all get to see it come to life.

Saturday 8:05 PM MT- MILLER SIGNS TO CU
Four-star receiver Omarion Miller spent Christmas Eve with Colorado on his mind. The Louisiana native heads to Boulder after saying “Thank You, Next” to Nebraska, LSU, Arkansas and others.
Thursday 8:30 PM MT- ANOTHER JSU TRANSFER
Former Jackson State defensive back Cam’Ron Silmon is joining Coach Prime in Boulder. The 5-foot-11, 180-pounder had 48 tackles with 2.5 sacks and 4.5 TFL in 2021. He also has three interceptions with five pass breakups, one forced fumble, and one fumble recovery. A hybrid-style defender who will be hovering around the line of scrimmage often.
Thursday 11:05 AM- A HUGE TRANSFER
Former Western Michigan DE Marshawn Kneeland is coming to Boulder. The 6-foot-3, 275-pound defender was ranked 17th by PFF for his run-stopping ability. A great pickup for Prime and his staff.
Thursday, 10:30 AM- The class currently has 24 players including transfers, and ranked No. 7 overall nationally with last year’s top recruit Travis Hunter following Coach Prime from JSU. A huge commitment who already developed chemistry with Buffs QB Shedeur Sanders.

The worst kept secret with Prime coming to Boulder was the starting QB coming with him. Shedeur Sanders will be CU’s leader on offense and can flat out ball. The JSU transfer threw for 6,963 yards and 70 TD in two seasons. Don’t be surprised in ‘Heisman’ is attached to his name next year.
Dylan Edwards comes to Colorado after flipping from Notre Dame. The four-star running back from Wichita, KS was the Buffs first top 300 recruit to make the jump after Prime came to Colorado. As a senior, Edwards had a total of 2,127 yards and 35 rushing touchdowns, according to Rivals.com.
Adam Hopkins was a surprise flip from Auburn. The four-star WR from Thomasville, GA took a spot on the UA All-American squad and was a two-way player throughout high school. As a junior, he split time at defensive back with 15 tackles, 12 PBU and two interceptions returned for pick-sixes.
Morgan Pearson is another dynamic WR coming to Boulder. The Ardmore, OK native is also a multi-sport athlete with serious DI offers in baseball. He has played on both sides of the ball with 14 total TDs, including three pick-six returns and two kick returns for scores. An underrated three-star who could be a game changer for the Buffs.
Dallas HS standout DB Carter Stoutmire commits to Colorado with family ties to Prime. Stoutmire has earned honors at Plano’s Prestonwood Christian Academy with 41 tackles and six interceptions, returning two of them for touchdowns. PCHS went 9-3 to end the season deep in the TAPPS playoffs.
The link between the Stoutmire family and Sanders is strong. Carter’s father, Omar Stoutmire, is a former teammate of Prime’s with both of them having spent time with the Dallas Cowboys in the late 90s. Not a surprise Carter wants to start his collegiate career with Sanders in Colorado. He’ll bolster CU’s secondary at a 5-foot-11, 180-pound playmaker, who played a fair amount of quarterback growing up and is a student of the game.
Stoutmire is one of the many recruits coming into Boulder after Coach Prime took over. He’s noted as a three-star athlete with a background as a speedy track star who has developed into a physical press coverage defensive back. He ran an 11.03 second official time in the 100-meter dash earlier this year.
Ryan Staub is a 6-1, 190-pound pro-style quarterback from Stevenson Ranch, CA. He received several offers and it came down to SMU and Colorado. A three-star recruit who threw for 3,008 yards and 37 touchdowns. West Ranch HS posted an 11-1 record with Staub being named Foothill League Player of the Year.
Isaiah Hardge comes to Colorado as a three-star WR from St. Thomas Aquinas HS in Fort Lauderdale, FL. As a junior, he helped STA capture a Florida 7A state title with 22 receptions for 355 yards and 6 TDs. He’s also the brother of starting Oregon State DB, Ron Hardge III, who was once on CU’s radar.
Victory Johnson has the best name in CU’s class. The 6-foot-4, 230-pound linebacker from Cathedral Catholic continues the tradition of Buffs from San Diego. A breakout prospect who made a name for himself at the UA Next camp.
Jaden Milliner-Jones comes from the talent-rich DeSoto HS, which also brought Laviska Shenault and KD Nixon to Boulder in 2017. The safety helped DeSoto earn an 11-3 record and a Texas 6A D-II regional final appearance as a junior in 2021.
Jordan Onovughe is a straight baller with a dog’s mentality. The Mater Dei product contributed to a 2022 HS national title with 46 receptions for 517 yards and four touchdowns. An outstanding game with eight catches for 117 yards and a touchdown in a 24-21 win over Las Vegas powerhouse Bishop Gorman.
Hank Zilinskas is the only in-state recruit currently on CU’s class. The Cherry Creek HS offensive lineman considered his options that included Kansas State, but will stay home for Prime.
Tyler Brown is a Madison, Miss. talent with a lot of upside. The 6-foot-3, 300-pound offensive guard from Jackson State by way of Louisiana. Another JSU Tiger coming to CU with Prime
Colorado is not done by far. Prime and Co. are working on top CB Cormani McClain, who hasn’t signed his L.O.I. with Miami after an 11th-hour conversation on Wednesday morning. If the Buffs can pull in the third-ranked player in this year’s class, it would boost CU’s secondary and push them into being a top five class.
Thursday, 9:50 AM - Blake Purchase, the star DE/OLB from Cherry Creek, has officially signed with the University of Oregon. The Buffs gave it a good shot, but the relationship with the best recruiting program in the country was too much to overcome.

Wednesday, 8:30 AM - Could Coach Prime lockdown the best corner in the nation for the second year in a row? Steve Wiltfong of 247 is reporting that Cormani McClain will not be signing today and Deion and Colorado have reached out.
Tuesday, 9:30 PM - Jordan Hall has decommitted from CU:
The OT was all-state in Ohio in his senior year. We wish him well!
Tuesday, 7:06 PM - Savion Washington has committed as a transfer offensive lineman, who should have three years left to play. He was the starting right tackle at Kent State University, where CU’s offensive line coach and offensive coordinator both hail from. He is massive, at 6’9 and 330 pounds, and will anchor RT for the Buffs next year.

New Buffaloes who have sent in their signed National Letter of Intent
BIGGEST NEWS OF THE DAY. WR Travis Hunter has confirmed that he is coming to Colorado. The WR/DB was the #1 recruit in the country in 2021 and shined in the 2022 Celebration Bowl for the Jackson State Tigers. He is the GREATEST athlete to play for CU in at least 15 years, and likely longer. Hunter is a big, big boy.
Wednesday, 6:55 AM- The first few have announced their commitments to CU
WR Assad Waseem was the first to be official. The three-star Ocoee, Florida WR received interest from many Power 5 schools including four in the SEC. He is a BURNER with some wiggle to him as well.
ILB LaVonta Bentley comes to Boulder as a transfer from Clemson. A physical LB with a ton of attributes. He had 73 tackles (11.5 TFL), 5.5 sacks, two pass breakups and two forced fumbles in 417 defensive snaps with the Tigers.
LB Kofi Taylor-Barrocks is noted as the top English player. His journey to the U.S. started with Prime recruiting him to Jackson State. The NFL Academy product is listed as a three-star linebacker with a 6-foot-3, 220-pound frame. It will be interesting to see how he’ll stack up once he steps foot on campus.
DE Taijh Alston is a transfer from West Virginia via East Carolina. A starter at defensive end for the Mountaineers last season with 37 tackles, 11 tackles for loss, and five sacks.
OL Landon Bebee makes his way to Boulder from Missouri State. A co-captain at left tackle, who has allowed only three sacks over the past two seasons. He was the anchor for the Bears offense that racked up 34.2 points per game, which ranked 12th in FCS.
OL Savion Washington has signed a grant-in-aid, binding CU to the big right tackle. He is a HUGE get, literally and figuratively, at right tackle and he will start right away for his former head coach in Sean Lewis.
DE/LB Taje McCoy made it official from Oklahoma! McCoy is a pass rush specialist that is a plus athlete wherever he is on the field. Whatever the opposite of T-rex arms is, he has it. Reach, speed, power, McCoy is one of the best pure pass rusher recruits in the countrty.
DL Shane Cokes has made it official and I am so excited to see him next year. The Dartmouth transfer (and former captain) is quick, powerful and disruptive on the edge. He immediately added offers from some big time programs, including Miami, in the portal and he is going to play a lot next year.
WR Jacob Page is a burner at wide receiver and a huge get out of Tennessee.
OL Isaiah Jatta is an absolute mammoth of a left tackle that will start immediately. He and Savion Washington make for a huge upgrade at the tackles.
OL Jack Wilty is a 2nd-team All-American at the junior college ranks and he flipped his commitment on signing day from Northern Illinois to Colorado. He had offers from everyone at the G5 level, including CU’s new OL coach, so it seems like he can play.
