One of many examples illustrating how the Buffaloes fortunes have changed.
With the major changes within the Buffaloes football program in the past eight months, things are looking up for not only fans of the team, but those who report on them as well.
Adam Munsterteiger, publisher at BuffStampede.com tweeted a photo of himself and fellow journalist Brian Howell, beat writer for Boulder Daily Camera and Buffzone, in October of 2022 and another from this month. The expressions on their faces were polar opposites in each photo.
In Early October of 2022, when the first photo was taken, Munsterteiger and Howell both are pictured on the field of Arizona Stadium after a brutal Buffalo loss to the Wildcats. Both men look devastated and frustrated as to how the team was performing.
Ten months later, the same two men are pictured standing in the Buffaloes conference room, grinning from ear-to-ear. As Munsterteiger quoted, “They say a picture is worth a thousand words.” Based on their smiles, that certainly seems to be the case.
Between the hiring of Deion Sanders, major additions to the roster, and the recent confirmation that the Buffs would be headed to the Big-12 beginning in the 2024 season, there is a lot to look forward to for the Buffs. Munsterteiger and Howell certainly seem to feel the joy already.
