Secret Visitor to Secret Commit
The Colorado Buffaloes had a defense-heavy week of visitors last week, and it turns out that there were some secret visitors that no one knew about. Deion Sanders really knows how to keep the surprise of the holiday season alive. It’s even better when one of those secrets commits to the Buffs!
Samuel Okunlola may be a familiar name to Buff fanatics. Before Mel Tucker left, he was being recruiting pretty heavily out of high school. Then, Tucker left, Dorrell came in, and he chose the much more stable school of Pittsburgh. At Pittsburgh, the 6’4, 245 pound end had a productive freshman season in 2023, tallying 18 tackles, including 5 sacks. He will immediately compete for playing time at CU and will likely start for the Buffs immediately at end. He joins an experienced and athletic room that has a mix of great bodies to play around with. New ends coach Vincent Dancy will have plenty of talent to mold.
