The Buffs are once again bolstering the secondary

Some additions are better late than never. With less than a month before Colorado’s opener against North Dakota State, the Buffs have added former Oregon State safety Ian Massey to add some depth to their secondary.

Massey started his college career at Trinity Valley Community College in Athens, Texas, where he played for two seasons before transferring to the Beavs in 2021.

In his three years in Corvallis, Massey only appeared in one game with the Beavers, coincidentally being Colorado’s upset win in OT over OSU at Folsom Field in 2021.

Even without much experience playing at the FBS level, Massey adds extra depth to a position group that could have used it in 2023.
