The Buffs are getting even more help in the trenches
You can never have too much help in the defensive trenches, which is something that Colorado’s coaching staff seems to know all too well. Colorado managed to snag Ohio standout DT Rayyan Buell from the transfer portal, further bolstering their revamped defensive line.
BREAKING: Former Ohio DL Rayyan Buell has Committed to Colorado, he tells @on3sports
The 6’3 275 DL totaled 39 Tackles and 6.5 Sacks in his 2 years with the Bobcats

Buell played the last two seasons with the Bobcats, where he eventually broke out in 2023. After finishing with 30 tackles and 4.5 sacks, Buell was named to the third team all-MAC list. Before his time in Athens, Buell was a star for Northwest Mississippi Community College.
Buell is ready to take the next step and move onto playing in a power four conference. He’ll now join the likes of Shane Cokes, Chidozie Nwankwo, Anquin Barnes and Taurean Carter, adding even more talent at the DT position.
Snagging a 6-foot-3, 270 Ibs group of five standout from the portal is always a welcome addition. Buell has one year of eligibility remaining and he’ll be spending it playing for the Buffaloes.
Welcome to Boulder, Rayyan!
