Tad Boyles’ Buffs face an interesting early schedule.
Colorado Buffaloes men’s basketball finalized its 2022-23 non-conference schedule on Thursday. It’s a solid offering with multiple ‘Power 5’ opponents, a possible March Madness cinderella, and two in-state rivals.
The Buffs will play six home games during non-conference play along with five previously announced road contests; four of those at neutral sites. They’ll welcome UC Riverside to Boulder to start the campaign on Monday, Nov. 7 before hitting the road for nearly the rest of the month with a trip to Nashville to take on Tennessee and a stop at the Myrtle Beach Invitational in Conway, South Carolina along the way.
A rare back-to-back Pac-12 home-and-away against Arizona State (Dec. 1) and at Washington (Dec. 4) breaks-up the early portion of the schedule. Colorado then opens a four-game home stand with Colorado State on Thursday, Dec. 8 for the latest edition of Rocky Mountain Showdown following a three-year hiatus. The Rams are coming off their first NCAA Tournament appearance in nine years in 2022.
Colorado faces off against North Alabama on Thursday, Dec. 15 prior to facing Northern Colorado three days later on Sunday, Dec. 18. They’ll wrap non-conference with Southern Utah on Dec. 21. The Buffs Pac-12 schedule starts on Thursday, Dec. 29.
Times and television for all games will be announced later this summer along with the remainder of the Pac-12 schedule.
