Folsom is going to be the center of the college football universe on Saturday morning.

Saturday morning should see a historic crowd in Boulder, Colorado when the Buffaloes take the field against the Nebraska Cornhuskers. Fans hoping to go, but not yet in possession of a ticket, might be in for a bit of sticker shock when they see the cost to get in to Folsom Field.

According to TickPick, this is the most expensive Buffaloes game in history.

When looking at regular season college football games, the average purchase price ($417) ranks as the 12th most expensive game of all time. In terms of “get-in” price ($476) this ranks in the top five most expensive college football games.

The “get-in” price for their home opener against Nebraska prior to beating TCU was $266 – the “get-in” price shot up to a whopping $476 following the win (79% more expensive).

TickPick also noted that the cost to attend all of the Buffaloes home games last season was $222, 53% less than the cost to attend Saturday’s game against the Cornhuskers.

If the Buffaloes take care of business against Nebraska expect these prices to continue to rise, especially with a challenging conference schedule and a strong start to the season for the Pac-12.
