Colorado’s star young offensive lineman is already earning accolades
It’s only July, but the accolades are already rolling in for Colorado’s sophomore offensive tackle Jordan Seaton, as he was named to multiple preseason All-American lists.
Seaton, widely regarded as the top offensive lineman in the 2024 recruiting class, shocked the world when he came to Boulder and balled out for the Buffaloes last season, earning freshman All-American honors from On3, PFF and 247 for his efforts.
Headed into the 2025 season, Seaton was named as a second-team preseason All-American by the Walter Camp Football Foundation and a third-team preseason All-American by Athlon Sports.

Athlon also named Seaton and six other Buffaloes to their preseason All-Big 12 team. Seaton and cornerback DJ McKinney were given first-team honors, while transfer wide receiver Joseph Williams earned third-team honors, and cornerback Preston Hodge, offensive lineman Xavier Hill, defensive end Arden Walker, and linebacker Martavius French earned fourth-team honors.

Seaton is poised to have a pivotal 2025 year, and the national publications are indicating that they have their eyes on Colorado’s young star lineman. If he can keep up his development and earn All-American honors come December, Seaton very well could be the first offensive lineman off the board during the 2027 NFL Draft.
